The Year of Nobody

 

I have to admit, every time I write here is mainly because I forgot to do it and somehow something reminds me I have a blog. It is almost 2026 and that I know of, I must be one of the few people who still have a blog -- at least nobody I personally know has one -- Writing these lines from my Manhattan office on a Friday afternoon.

Besides the Metal Souls series, this year has not been the best one for me art-wise. I really should start dedicating more time. Unfortunately I also didn't do any art shows given the effort they take every time, not barely break even (if lucky) with the costs. Let's hope the coming year is better.

Otherwise, I did travel a lot again this year (which seems to be a constant fortunately) and also worked quite a lot while not travelling. I have been thinking about buying a Samsung Galaxy tablet as an incentive to draw more while not on my desk. However, I'm on my desk most of the time so not sure how much of a difference it will make haha. 

I have been thinking about selling art online through Bitcoin-only purchases as an experiment. I am not sure however how many systems exist today for an easy shop setup that's Bitcoin focused. Maybe I should work on making one. I also still want to make a boardgame one day, since it's also another one of my good hobbies.
